Author Biographies
Dr. Daniel Weinberg
Dr. Daniel Weinberg graduated with his medical doctorate from Albany Medical College in 2005 after a lifetime of wanting to help people in their most vulnerable places. He received his board certification in Neurology and Psychiatry in 2009 and has since gone on to work as a creatively brilliant attending psychiatrist in many diverse clinical settings. His no-nonsense (unless a dose of nonsense can help) approach to treatment has created a career of deep connection with his patients and focused care. Aside from being a dedicated member of his community, Dr. Weinberg is a devoted husband and a father to a nine-year-old son. He spends his free time with a metal detector at the beach and enjoys playing sports with his child. He began this journey of writing to help the world better understand psychiatry and mental disease and strives to lend perspective to some of the deepest, darkest struggles in our society to lessen the suffering.
Kassidi DiNonno
Kassidi DiNonno works as a professional editor focusing on first-time authors seeking to craft their unique voices. Her career began humbly by getting her hands on any literature poorly typed marketing blurbs she could find. A craving for compelling stories drove Kassidi headfirst into the business of editing manuscripts for poetically inclined and hungry authors looking to tell their most exciting stories. Her deep passion for psychology and human behavior led her to the aid of Dr. Weinberg. Kassidi is a devoted single mother to a beautiful 3-year-old little boy and a rather mischievous (and chunky) Catahoula Curr dog. She spends her days jumping on a trampoline with her toddler and simultaneously correcting the grammar of everything. Though, no one pays her to edit the safety warnings on trampolines. Words are her passion, regardless.
